Have you been out shopping in the malls recently? There are Christmas trees decorating every inch. Our boat is still in the water. Come on, it isn't even Halloween yet. It just seems that the season is rushed more each year.
Have you started your crafting for the holidays yet? Well, let's get started. I am going to host some workshops to help get your holiday creative juices going.
If you are like me, each year I say I am going to get my Christmas cards
made and addressed, shopping done, cookies baked, candy made and the decorating
all done by the first of December. This way I can sit back and really enjoy
the holidays. Well, the intentions are there but it does not always happen and
I find myself rushing at the end to get everything done. Sound familiar?
On
Saturday, November 3rd from 10 am until 2 pm, I will be hosting a Christmas Card Workshop. If you
have ever given any thought to making your own cards, but weren't sure how to
get started, or just need that little push to get you going, then this workshop
is for you. You will be making 15 cards - 3 each of 5 different designs. Just
think, you can have your cards done before Thanksgiving!!
The cost for this Workshop is $25 - that
includes all materials to make your 15 cards plus lunch. And, if you want to make more cards, you will receive a discount on orders placed that day. You must sign up no later than October 20th to guarantee your spot. 
My next workshop will feature some cute 3D Christmas trees. The Christmas Trees are a cute little project that will brighten up your mantle, desktop or table. You can make two trees for $7 or all three for $10. This project will be on Thursday, November 1 from 6 to 8 pm.Then, on Wednesday, November 14th from 6 to 8 pm, I will be teaching the Christmas Star workshop. You will decorate this cute star with your choice of Christmas papers. This lightweight, 3D, 12 inch star is just perfect for your holiday decor. You can keep it yourself or give it as a gift. The cost for this workshop will be $18. All supplies included.
I will be teaching the Christmas Advent Calendar class on Sunday, November 18th from 2 to 4 pm. The cost of this class will be $25. This is the perfect gift to give to your children or grandchildren to help them count down the days until Christmas. Fill each drawer with a little surprise.
The final Christmas workshop will be held on Saturday, December 1 from 2 to 4 pm. This will feature the Christmas Display Tray. This wall hanging will be a great addition to your holiday decor. The cost for this workshop is $30.
